No Path For Council To Block Flights

Some politicians assert there is a way to block commercial air service from Paine Field or create a poison pill of costs to thwart commercial service, but Bill Sheets of the Herald points out that all the political blather is simply "smack" (another way to say empty talk).  Faced with the potential for aggressive FAA action against Snohomish County if local officials don't negotiate in good faith, and with no support from the state's congressional delegation to carry the anti-commercial air banner, the County may have put itself in a corner.  Click here for the full article.
