Yakima Airport Clears Delta Connections For Takeoff!

In a drive described as "one of the most intensive community efforts in the state in years," business leaders in the City of Yakima worked out a deal with Delta Connections to provide commuter jet service from Yakima's airport.  Yakima residents are cheering the return of airline competition and easier connections via Salt Lake instead of Sea-Tac.  Brenda Pittsley's article, available in the June 2007 edition of the Seattle Business Monthly, can be found here.
